India Unveils PARAM Rudra Supercomputers for Climate Research Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched three cutting-edge PARAM Rudra supercomputers, installed in Pune, Delhi, and Kolkata, as part of the National Supercomputing Mission. These state-of-the-art systems, developed at a cost of ₹130 crore, will enhance India’s capabilities in weather and climate research, crucial for addressing environmental challenges. During the launch, Modi emphasized the need for technological advancements to benefit all sectors of society, particularly underprivileged communities.
