Take for example, a robot and AI enabled safety process developed jointly with Cognite for Ocker BP. Here, Spot the robot makes its rounds and detects strange vibrations coming from a pipe. Spot sends images and acoustic pictures to Cognite Data Fusion, where the images are analyzed using GPT 4V hosted in the Azure Open AI service for safety operator to review with full context. The data from Cognite Data Fusion are also liberated out of the industrial context into Microsoft Fabric and the organizations broader data estate from Fabric other teams. The non domain users, such as data scientists and business analysts can visualize and act on rich contextualized industrial data and make it available for AI. In this example, an AI agent sifts through data in the background, combining contextualized industrial data collected by the robot from Cognite data Fusion work order data from SAP and other enterprise data in a fabric lake house. The agent messages safety operators and Microsoft Teams with recommendations on how to respond. And a one click option to create a work order to fix the safety issue.
