😎 In 1985, my first car was a green Ford Fiesta. We enjoyed the freedom of being mobile and exploring the world. Now, after 47 years and nearly 20 million units sold, Ford has decided to retire this iconic compact car. 🚗 The #Fiesta, launched in 1976, started strong despite market skepticism and quickly became a best-seller. It set the standard in the small car segment for years, known for its space, versatile engine options, and models like the Puma, Streetka, and Fusion. However, as the #automotive landscape shifted, the Fiesta couldn't keep pace with changing customer demands and market conditions. In 2023, Ford stopped production of the Fiesta, focusing now on electric vehicles and premium models. ⚡🚙 The Puma, a mini-crossover, is now the new entry model, reflecting the shift in consumer preferences. The Ford Fiesta will always be remembered as a symbol of reliability, versatility, and innovation. Its retirement marks the end of an era but also the start of an exciting future for Ford, as they focus on the next chapter in the world of mobility. 🌍🔋 🙏Thank you, Ford Fiesta, for all the memories! 🙏 What’s your favorite Fiesta memory? Share it in the comments! ⬇️ #FordFiesta #EndOfAnEra #AutomotiveHistory #ElectricVehicles #Ford #Innovation #CarCulture #Memories #Mobility #SmallCarRevolution #FutureOfCars Video Credit --> Ford news Europe

Ford is hoping to broaden the appeal of its seven-seat Expedition SUV and boost market share in a crowded segment by adding more off-road muscle and new features to make family travel more convenient. The 2025 Expedition, on sale next spring, adds the rear split gate that debuted in August on the Lincoln Navigator, with which it shares a platform. It has a new grille and headlamp design, a 24-inch panoramic digital display that curves along most of the dashboard, an optional sliding front console with lockable storage and optional lighting that illuminates the surrounding area when parked. A new Tremor variant, which replaces the Timberline trim, provides more off-road capability and expands that line beyond Ford's pickups. The redesign comes at an important time for Ford. U.S. sales of the Expedition rose 3 percent in the first nine months of the year and it's among the automaker's most profitable products, but it's the Ford brand's lowest-volume utility and trails the rival Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon.
