More ColiMinder news from around the globe! 🌏 Not the furthest ColiMinder from us, but still quite far away down under is Nerida, the ColiMinder of Sydney Water . Our valued distributor for Australia and New Zealand, Phil Krasnostein from Optimos Group, is currently preparing and validating the ColiMinder for its deployment in monitoring #enterococci levels 🦠 in a side arm of the Sydney Harbour Bay. One of Sydney Water's stated goals is to enable swimming in the Harbour Bay and its side arms - a project called “Urban Plunge” has been set up for this purpose. 🏊♀️ Their ColiMinder “Nerida” contributes a small piece to the puzzle: the levels of faecal contamination are continuously monitored, with results available within 15 minutes; and a “fire alarm” can be triggered if the contamination exceeds the threshold values. The measurement data are also used to develop a predictive model of the dynamics of fecal contamination. We are very happy about this great installation and wish all citizens of the City of Sydney a safe summer of swimming - the #ColiMinder protects your health. 🌊 #onlinebacterialmonitoring to enable Swimmable Cities !
Nice Application. Well Done dear Phil.

1moWe are part way through a large sampling and testing programme and Nerida is doing a great job. It is a real pleasure working with Peter Beatson, Megan Dreyer and the Sydney Water crew.
