As we step into 2025, our wishes are a delightful mess of contradictions. We hope for peace, yet cheer for our defense stocks to soar. We want real estate prices to drop when we buy, only to hope they rise once we own. We dream of a world where technology makes life easier, but we fear our jobs being taken over by AI. We crave the simplicity of the past, yet can't live without the latest gadgets. We wish for a healthy lifestyle but indulge in fast food and binge-watching TV shows. We want to travel the world, but do not like the hassle of airports. And then there's the classic: we all want heaven, but no one wants to die. In this web of conflicting desires, we realize we don't really know what we want. We just wish for the best, the best that remains unknown. So, as we stand on the brink of a new year, let's take a moment to laugh at our own contradictions. Here's to 2025, a year where our wishes are as clear as our confusion. Happy New Year!!!
