Hiring a social media manager who genuinely loves social media is a growth hack. The average social media manager might do a bit of community management during working hours. The obsessed social media manager considers themself as part of your community, checks socials mornings, nights, and weekends. Oftentimes not getting paid for the extra work but they know it's what needs to be done in order for the brand to feel like you're everywhere at all times. Especially in the crypto industry -- which is inherently global and runs 24/7. Very tough to hire for. Sometimes best to find someone who is already a community champion and has a knack for social. Then provide them with the necessary training, guidance, and mentorship so that they level up over time to run the brand presence.

Chase companies, not titles. - What do I mean by this? I always say that it's far more important to pick the right company to join than what title you (initially) get. Pick a rocketship, work hard and everything else will follow. How to vet companies? Glassdoor (employees) and G2 (customers) reviews are both a great start.. One of the companies I'd chase is obviously Synthesia.
