Check out the C-130 ✈️ flyover at yesterday's Tampa Bay Buccaneers 🏈football game. I love watching old aircraft like this. My father actually flew the C-130s so seeing one soar above us brought back some pleasant memories and stories. They invited the military pilots who flew the plane onto the field during the game for a curtain call. The crowds always love this stuff. Why do I have this clip? I was in Tampa yesterday to meet with a client at the airport which, if you don't know, is located quite close to the 🏈 stadium. So why not catch a game with a friend in town if possible? On the way out we drove by the air cargo loop and happened to see the bus and truck caravan (and their police escort) for the New Orleans Saints go into the airport from a special entrance. Something like 11 buses and 4-5 trucks. - Special charter flight(s) for the visiting football opponent The charter flights carry all the players, coaches, trainers, and other staff. Let's not forget all the helmets, pads, shoes, jerseys, pants, jackets, and medical/training equipment. American football has the largest team rosters of any major sport. The players are also much bigger, probably averaging at least 250lb per player. Many players weigh over 300 lbs. Big front seats for most of the guys, eh 😁 .
