These eye-opening statistics serve as a great reminder that early detection is so important to one’s overall health. For those who are in their early to mid-40s and have not had a colorectal cancer screening, it’s very important to find the time to make an appointment for a screening.

There are alternatives to colonoscopy, at least for the early years. So no one need be afraid of screening!
