Hey, good morning. This is Terry Luca with a commercial loan brokers association and the Commercial Loan Brokers Academy. Wanted to take a minute this morning and just reach out to you and and tell you about an interesting article I read today in the Wall Street Journal. There was an article about how BlackRock just acquired a PS or I'm sorry, HPS, which is an asset management company that also does alternative lending. And that's really why BlackRock was, was buying the company was for the alternative lending, at least that's what it appears. Here's an interesting thing that I read about in the article. Moody's projects that over the next three years, the alternative lending space, the private lending space, will grow to $3 trillion. Now, that's not Terry saying that, that's Moody saying that, that over the next three years, the alternative lending space, the private lending space is going to grow to a $3 trillion industry. Wow. What does that mean for owners? What does it mean for borrowers? And what does it mean for commercial loan brokers? Well. We all know that banks have consistently been tightening up, and it's not their fault. It's the regulations and the regulators that are putting undue burdens and undue stresses on banks. That's just where we are. But here's the interesting thing. Business owners still need capital. We still got to have capital to grow and expand our businesses or to meet payrolls. So those business owners are still going to be looking for ways to acquire the capital they need. So they're going to need what they're going to need some of that private lending. And when they need that private lending, they're not going to know where to go. That's why they need a great commercial loan. Broker, if you've ever thought about changing careers, if you've ever thought about being in an industry where you could make a difference and change your life, it's the commercial loan broker industry. So for all you commercial loan brokers out there, I'll say this. Sharpen your pencils, sharpen your tools, get your quiver ready to go. Make sure you've got all the things you need to be successful and help that business owner get the funding they need. That's going to include those private markets. You need to know them.
