Dear Friends, Colleagues, More than 108,000 Americans lost their lives to overdoses in 2021. This is the highest number of Americans lost to overdoses ever recorded. In fact, it is safe to say we all know someone who has been impacted by mental health and/or substance use disorder, but we fail to talk openly about it. Silence perpetuates the stigma surrounding these disorders. Help us to demonstrate nationwide understanding, hope and solidarity and let people know that there is No Shame in getting help for mental health & addiction, by joining us in taking the No Shame Pledge. Take the pledge at https://lnkd.in/gqagbGNP to help combat negative public perception and support others in speaking up about their own disorders.

Making the right moves together 💙 As many of you know, I'm passionate about mental health awareness and addiction support. That's why I've created a safe space called "Things We Don't Talk About" on Facebook. This group is a place for open conversations about addiction and suicide, topics often shrouded in silence and stigma. Whether you're struggling with addiction, facing mental health challenges, or supporting a loved one, you'll find understanding, support, and shared experiences here. Together, we can break the silence, offer hope, and build a compassionate space for healing and recovery. Join me in this journey towards awareness, support, and understanding.
