He is NOT alone in this opinion. Quantity over quality is what the world of content is all about today. The rise of digital platforms has led to content explosion, where vast amounts of information are created and shared every second. While this abundance offers opportunities for learning and expression, it also brings significant perils. Audiences face information overload, making it difficult to discern credible sources amidst noise and misinformation. Additionally, the rapid spread of unverified content can amplify disinformation, polarize opinions, and erode trust in institutions. All of this can leave users vulnerable to manipulation and mental fatigue. But fear not. My firm's latest offering "Synopsis.services" tackles this very problem. Get your own personal content butler. #content #information #misinformation #contentexplosion

I'm really excited about this one. How to create a client-ready first draft in minutes, rather than hours. Featuring.... Ivy... MVPR's platform brain 🧠. Ivy is trained on over a year of interactions with journalists, and has the power of our Journalist Vector Search behind it. Ivy knows what makes a great piece of content, and allows you to add the information in as you gather it. Creating a first draft now takes minutes rather than hours. And if that wasn't enough, Ivy is then able to suggest journalists that are specifically relevant to your content, based on our semantic analysis of what the media is writing about every day. It's AI-enabled workflows like this one that are allowing us to do in 15hrs what a traditional agency achieves in 80hrs. Please note, the announcement in this video is not real - but Ivy and the power it has, is. And if anyone is wondering how long the raw version of this video was before I tried to shorten it to make it faster to watch: it took me 4 minutes and 5 seconds to record this demo.

Thanks for the reference Benjamin R. - to develop this discussion, I think the current challenge is what a half-way point to agentic workflows looks like for companies, and what the human-machine interface looks like before workflows are fully agentic or agent-assisted. Most of us can imagine what a fully agentic workflow will look like: request in -> completed task out. It's much harder to breakdown the process involved in completing a task and then decide whether each incremental step in the process is better done by a human or the machine. That requires deep sector-specific expertise and an understanding on what data science, AI and automation is capable of delivering. If the task is better completed by a human, what should that interface look like? If it's a machine, what contextual information does it need to work to the highest standard? And then how do you pass the baton from one to the other to complete a complex process? For most companies, especially services companies, I expect the next phase of genAI development will not be how they can train staff to use next-word-predictors, but how to design or adopt an interface that stores the right knowledge while it works to complete processes.

Not every information source is trusted ( BE SKEPTICAL) STOP: Don't be quick to share any information..have a keen look at the content first. REFLECT:Pause and take a moment to check whether the information is sensational or not. VERIFY:Cross check with other media outlets, news websites and also use fact checking websites. #VijanaTuchanuke

The rise of #GenerativeAI has led to an increase in #FakeNews and #OnlineMisinformation. AI-generated articles are flooding the internet, creating #PinkSlimeNews sites that mimic real journalism. This trend poses significant risks to the credibility of online content and highlights the urgent need for improved #InternetRegulation and #ContentQualityControl.

Sudhanva ji, your post triggered a few thoughts… India has indeed been a land of debates and constructive criticism since time immemorial, where philosophical inquiry, discussion, and dialogue have shaped the intellectual fabric of the country. From ancient texts to the courtrooms of kings, debate has been an integral part of Indian tradition, helping refine ideas and develop critical thinking. This rich legacy can be seen through various examples in Indian mythology, history, and culture, where differing viewpoints were often embraced as a way to arrive at deeper truths. One of the most iconic examples comes from the Mahabharata, specifically the dialogue between Arjuna and Lord Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita. Arjuna, standing on the battlefield of Kurukshetra, questions the moral righteousness of war and the implications of killing his kin. This internal conflict leads to an intense debate between him and Krishna about duty, righteousness, and the nature of life itself. Rather than dismissing Arjuna’s concerns, Krishna engages in a nuanced discussion, offering perspectives on karma, dharma, and the eternal soul. This dialogue represents the spirit of debate, where even divine knowledge is shared through reason and discussion, not blind obedience. Similarly, Indian history is replete with examples of philosophical debates. A significant example is found in the life of Adi Shankaracharya, who traveled across India engaging in debates with scholars and theologians to promote the Advaita philosophy of Vedanta. One of his most famous debates was with Mandana Mishra, a scholar of the Mimamsa school of thought, and his wife, Ubhaya Bharati. These debates were not just intellectual exercises but were seen as paths to enlightenment, with the understanding that truth could emerge from constructive criticism and open exchange of ideas. In ancient India, debates were not confined to religion and philosophy but extended to scientific inquiry as well. The Charvaka school of thought, which propagated a materialistic and skeptical worldview, challenged established religious and metaphysical ideas. Though Charvakas were often at odds with orthodox traditions, their existence and acceptance in the larger philosophical landscape underscore India's long-standing tradition of intellectual pluralism and the role of debate in refining ideas. Through mythology, history, and intellectual discourse, India has cultivated a culture that thrives on questioning, reasoning, and evolving through constructive criticism. This openness to debate has allowed for the coexistence of diverse philosophies, making the Indian civilization one of the most pluralistic in the world. Whether in spiritual teachings, political governance, or academic inquiry, India’s tradition of debate continues to be a vital force in shaping its cultural and intellectual heritage.
A debate, argument or conversation between two people is not about who won or who lost. It is about the content that is generated as a consequence of a debate that is more valuable. Applying our perception and the key takeaways that we can internalise seems a better approach. It helps filter the noise and cut the clutter to get to the essence. #debate #argument #conversation #win #lose #content #filter #cuttheclutter #essence #clutter #noise #filter

Not sure what the Venn diagram of Content Experts + Experienced Facilitators/Mediators looks like in my LI network 😅, but maybe this is worth a try: If you were convening a small group of voters with wildly disparate political views, what content (a short article, book excerpt, video, etc.) might you select as a shared jumping-off point for each discussion? If you have ideas but would prefer to weigh in privately, feel free to InMail me. In the comments, I'll paste additional context for this ask. Thanks in advance for your help! #facilitation #mediation #civics #learning
