🙅🏾♀️ Myth: Engagement dies because members lose interest. ✅ Truth: Engagement dies because your community isn’t giving them a reason to return. I consulted a beauty community with a mission to revive the platform and increase engagement- which is incredibly hard to do. The content that was being posted was the random motivational quotes created on a basic Canva template. No wonder no one was engaging- there was nothing to talk about! After an honest conversation, we were able to reignite the engagement by: ✅Clarifying the needs of the community and creating a content map to address them directly ✅Introducing polls and challenges to spark relevant conversations. (Controversy is always fun here) ✅Creating rituals (think “Monday Morning Resources” posts or weekly shoutouts). ✅Empowering “ambassadors” in the platform to take the lead on posting more frequently on the platform. 💡There’s no one way to strengthen engagement in a platform, especially since every community has their own way of communicating! If you haven’t already signed up for the Bootcamp happening on January 13th, there’s only a few more days to join and get real-time strategies to help build, monetize, and scale your online community. In today’s digital landscape, community engagement isn’t just a buzzword—it’s a necessity. Whether you’re a startup, a seasoned business, or a content creator, actively engaging with your community can drive growth, foster loyalty, and build lasting relationships. Here are some proven strategies to elevate your community engagement: 1.Authentic Interaction: Be genuine in your interactions. Respond to comments, engage in conversations, and show appreciation for your community’s support. Authenticity builds trust and fosters a sense of belonging. 2.Value-Driven Content: Share content that resonates with your community’s interests and needs. Provide insights, solutions, and value through your posts, videos, and articles. Remember, quality trumps quantity. 3.Collaborative Initiatives: Involve your community in decision-making processes. Polls, surveys, and open-ended questions can provide valuable feedback and make your community feel valued and heard. 4.Exclusive Benefits: Offer exclusive content, early access, or special discounts to your community members. These perks can incentivize engagement and make your community feel special. 5.Storytelling: Share stories that highlight your community members. User-generated content, testimonials, and success stories create a sense of pride and connection within your community. 6.Consistent Presence: Regularly update and interact with your community. Consistency helps maintain engagement and keeps your brand top of mind. 7.Educational Opportunities: Host webinars, workshops, and Q&A sessions. Educational content not only provides value but also positions you as a thought leader in your industry. Building and nurturing a vibrant community takes time and effort, but the rewards are well worth it. By implementing these strategies, you can create a thriving, engaged community that supports and grows with you. #CommunityEngagement #DigitalMarketing #ContentStrategy #CustomerLoyalty #BrandBuilding #ContentCreation

Every month, before we start our community challenge, I make it a point to explain the "Power of ONE" and the rules of nurturing to my community members at Professional Pathfinders Hub It's a crucial lesson that sets the stage for our journey together. Last month, unfortunately, I had to take an unplanned break from posting due to illness, and I wasn't able to complete the challenge. However, even during the short time I participated in the #Prospect2ProfitChallengeWithToniaVincent, I managed to generate an impressive 101 leads for my SM toolkit and Social Media Management Mentorship – all because I followed the challenge calendar. Just by consistently posting three times during that period, I was able to attract a significant number of leads. When I started this community, our first three months of challenges were dedicated to analyzing what worked best and what didn't. Through this process, we developed a blueprint that now guides our community challenges and helps participants achieve results. I've tried this blueprint 4 times, and it has consistently delivered massive results for me. Other participants have also experienced success – even if they didn't land clients immediately, it helped them build confidence in sharing their results, no matter how small they might have seemed. Our community challenge is designed to help service-based businesses generate leads. If you follow the calendar, you'll get to post twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays. On other days, you're free to post whatever you like. In our content library, we have resources to help you choose one strategy to focus on during the challenge. We offer various options, so you can find one that aligns with your preferences. Some members love the engagement strategy I taught them, while others prefer LinkedIn groups, and so on. This Thursday, we're starting our next challenge, and this is your chance to join us and learn what you don't know. The membership fee is just N1000 (monthly subscription). Comment or DM me "COMMUNITY," and I'll share the details.

🚀 Believe it or not, building an engaged community is a lot like parenting! 🚀 (And yes, I also teach parenting classes!) Just like kids, your clients and customers need to feel like they belong and are important. When they don’t? Cue the chaos: disengagement, customer churn, and crickets in your community space. 🦗 The trick is to create something meaningful and impactful. But here's the thing—just because you build it doesn’t mean they’ll come. You have to give them a reason to want to join and stay. On November 8th, I’m hosting a “Community Building 101” webinar to show you: How to authentically connect with your audience 🎯 Ways to meet them where they want to be 🌐 Tips to foster a space they’ll actually engage with 🙌 Whether you're a business leader, marketer, or community enthusiast, join us to learn the secrets of building a loyal, engaged community that keeps coming back. 🔗 Sign up now https://lu.ma/e3eo6yjd Let’s create communities that thrive! #CommunityBuilding #CustomerEngagement #WebinarAlert #MarketingTips #BusinessGrowth #BuildingConnection 👉 Comment below if you’re in or tag someone who needs this!

Most times, the sole reason businesses thrive is because they've built strong relationships with their customers via online communities. The owners know their customers by name, understand their needs, and go above and beyond to meet them. In return, customers become loyal advocates, recommending their favorite businesses to friends and family. This is to show that building a sense of community is crucial for any business growth. It's no longer enough to just sell a product or service, businesses need to create a connection with their customers. You prioritize your community engagement by: 📍Responding to customer feedback and comments on social media, just like a friendly shop owner would chat with customers in their store. 📍Hosting webinars, events, or meetups to connect with customers in person. There's more! Watch this space for how to build an online community. __________ If you need help building a thriving online community. I never saw the role of a community manager as a big deal. I thought I had a pretty clear idea of what it was all about. I believed it was just about keeping everyone engaged with updates, fun events, weekly webinars, and maybe a few giveaways. But when I really got into it, I quickly realized that it's not just about making noise, creating content, or throwing random activities at people. The early stages of managing my 3MTT community made this very real to me. When I started with 3MTT, I wanted engagement and excitement—anything to get people talking. I never asked myself, *What does this community deeply need? What challenges are they facing?* As I continued blindly pushing activities, I noticed that, despite my efforts, the community wasn’t engaging. This sent me back to the drawing board. Once I started digging deeper to truly understand the community, things became much clearer. The lack of engagement wasn’t because they weren’t interested—it was because they didn’t fully understand the platform and needed guidance on what their role as fellows should be. So, I shifted focus. I created opportunities for them to share their challenges, addressed their concerns, and slowly built a foundation of trust and connection. Little by little, the community grew. Fellows felt heard and valued—and that made all the difference. Here’s the striking truth: Community management isn’t about flashy events, constant updates, or endless webinars. It’s about understanding your community's real needs, creating spaces where they feel valued, and fostering genuine relationships. Curious about how you can better strategize in managing your community? Drop me a message! PS: What misconception did you have about your field when you first started?
