COMO Hotels and Resorts’ Post

We are proud to announce that COMO Castello Del Nero in Tuscany, COMO Alpina Dolomites in Alpe di Siusi, and COMO Le Montrachet in Burgundy have been awarded one MICHELIN Key each. COMO Hotels and Resorts is grateful for the recognition by the Michelin Guide, which reflects each of our teams’ commitment to providing award-winning hospitality, exceptional nutrition-rich cuisine, and holistic wellness for our guests. Beyond that, it further cements each property’s character and personality in inspiring destinations that honour the spirit of place. In Asia alone, more than 3 billion hens are trapped in tiny cages right now. They are stressed and frustrated. Many will live short, painful lives. COMO Hotels is a major corporation operating 19 hotels. They must agree to source only cage-free eggs; such a decision could impact the whole industry, and many thousands of hens. COMO Hotels: enough is enough. Stop participating in the torture of innocent animals. It's time for a cage-free future.

Please increase your animal welfare awareness by helping to reduce the suffering of laying hens and starting to use cage-free eggs in your menu.

Global hotel chains like Ascott, Banyan Tree, and Hilton have already switched to sourcing only cage-free eggs, so why hasn't COMO considered this?

My family and I love spending time at COMO, but we regret to learn that it doesn't have a cage-free commitment like other big hotel brands.
