Today I taught my crew the difference between skill, passion, and knowledge. Removing glue down wooden floors! Fun, I know right! When I first got into this craziness we did everything by hand. So I let them learn what a pry bar and hammer can do or not do. Overtime (9 years later), you learn tricks of the trade to do things faster. 1. Make your perimeter cuts and small portion cuts. 2. Utilize a chipping hammer 3. Utilize a long hand crow bar 4. Finish off the glue removal with a proper floor scrapper 5. Pick up large debris, vacuum, then wipe down area w solutions. 6.
