Next in our "Get to Know the Team" series, we're excited to introduce Andrea Simmonds, our Administration Assistant. You may recognise her by her friendly, helpful attitude over the phones and email... or her distinctive Geordie accent! Here's a little more from Andrea herself: "Hi, my name is Andrea and I am an Administration Assistant for Compliance LEV. In my spare time, you'll often find me indulging in a Greys Anatomy marathon, enjoying a glass (or two) of wine, and a big bowl of pasta. And when the mood strikes, I balance it all out with a 5k walk in the bonnie Scottish countryside." We're lucky to have Andrea's positivity and knowledge of the company on our team. #GetToKnowTheTeam #Compliance #ComplianceLEV #EastAyrshire #EastAyrshireBusinesses

Colleagues and crisps….. One of the best things about being back in the office is having such great colleagues to collaborate with. There’s barely a day goes by without one of our team running a clause past someone for a second opinion or sharing a new case update or chatting through tactics for the resolution of a dispute. But what really makes a difference is feeling connected to those people that we spend a lot of time with, week after week. Litigation can be a stressful job and it’s massively important to know that you’ve got the support of your team. In order to brighten up an otherwise drizzly Tuesday, Simon Walsh and I have introduced what we hope will become a regular feature - “Crisps in the Office” (which any 6Music listeners will recognise as the offshoot of Radcliffe and Maconie’s iconic “Crisps on the Radio”). The idea is simply that an unusual bag of crisps is decanted into a bowl and everyone has a go at guessing the flavour. So far, we’ve had guacamole crisps from my holiday to Mexico and today Emma Richardson Ashleigh M. Sarah Howe Simon Foxcroft and I attempted to guess today’s flavour, which was gazpacho (courtesy of Simon Walsh and the middle aisle at Lidl GB) What do you do that’s a bit different to build your team? #teamwork #collaboration

Say hello to Nicola our Administrator and Executive Assistant (She keeps the directors organised) here at Sudburys. In our latest round of Q&A, we asked... If you could only wear one colour to work for the rest of your life, what would it be? “I can’t pick! Bright. Bright is my colour. If you’ve seen me, you know I live most of the year in dresses of a variety of colours, just add tights and boots and the bright summer dress becomes winter proof!” How do you approach problem-solving in your role? “ I’m happy and comfortable enough to just follow my instincts and just ‘click the buttons’, see where the problem-solving process takes me. The worst that can happen is I make a mistake which I will then fix up. The best outcome is I will solve the problem first go at it. Either way I will have learned something, and the problem will be being solved!” How do you like to celebrate an occasion? Do you like making a fuss or keeping things low-key? “Depends on the occasion 😊 Sometimes low key is nice but other times it's nice to be fussed over.” That’s good for us because today is Nicola’s birthday, so we wanted to make a bit of a fuss and say HAPPY BIRTHDAY! #Sudburys #EmpoweringBusiness #EmpoweringPeople #PeopleAndCulture #GetToKnowSudburys #OurTeam

Well done
A few hours ago this little space was full of sunshine, laughter and happy conversations. Our little oasis of peace in the midst of the sometimes chaotic day to day!!! Some days this job can be a little tough. Seeing the reality of what some of our young people go through every day, the expectations placed on them by all around them to conform, to be what social media tells them to be, to put on the bravado when all they want is for someone to see through it, the harsh bleakness of the future available for them thanks to politicians, pandemics and enviromental disaster, whilst being repeatly hit with the label of being lazy, worthless, aggressive and so on. These little moments of shared laughter…seeing them silently watch the fledglings brave the bird table that they built, sitting in the sunshine ploughing through the next unit of work, or working on whiteboards prepping for an exam… Not forgetting seeing the pride on the staff’s faces as they celebrate every little success. It’s really pretty damn special. To quote Van Morrison… “When everything falls into place like a flick of a switch, there’ll be days like this”

As leaders, it’s easy to focus our attention on solving problems and addressing challenges. 🔧 But let’s not forget about the silent stars 🌟—the team members who consistently do a great job, show up every day, and make things run smoothly without fanfare. Their quiet dedication often goes unnoticed because they don’t demand attention, but they are the backbone of every organization. 💪 Taking the time to recognize and appreciate them is just as important as addressing the loudest issues. 🙌 Who are the silent stars on your team, and how do you celebrate them?
Meet Jose and Yanira! This dynamic duo has been an integral part of our team for nearly 10 months, providing exceptional evening cleaning services to multiple clients. During this time, they have consistently scored high on inspections and received numerous positive comments from our clients. Their dedication and hard work shine through every day, and we couldn't be prouder to recognize them as our Employees of the Month. Jose and Yanira embody our core values: 🤝 Integrity - Do the right thing, even when no one is watching. ❤️ Compassion - Understanding others' challenges and offering help with kindness and respect. 🗣 Communication - Clear and effective exchange of information to ensure understanding and collaboration. ✊🏼Respect - Value others' opinions, contributions, and boundaries, fostering a culture of mutual appreciation. ↔️Flexibilty - Adapt to changing needs and challenges while remaining open to different approaches and solutions. Congratulations to you both and thank you for everything you do! #teamworkmakesthedreamwork #companyculture #service #commercialpropertymanagement #employeerecognition
