USDOT has put out a notice of proposed rulemaking to adopt PROWAG DOT's public right-of-way ADA standards that will apply to new construction and alterations of transit stops. There is much more ahead for the full adoption of PROWAG, but in this rule we are seeking comment on whether to add restrictions on the location of transit stop boarding and alighting areas to provide greater accessibility.
