With so much speed and power, how does a Formula 1 car work exactly? Formula 1 is a sport of finesse and agility so straight-line speed is only part of the equation for success. For an F1 car to perform well, every single inch of it needs to be created with an absolute intention and purpose. There is simply no room for spare parts, dead weight or unnecessary motion. #HowDoesAFormula1CarWork

And here we are! I am so pleased with the new technical regulations for returning to a lighter, more nimble car and "hopefully" some closer racing! I am not sure how I feel about the manual override mode as a replacement to DRS to create artificial overtaking opportunities but let's see how this plays out in reality. What are your thoughts? #F1 #formula1 #motorsport #csg

The future of Formula 1 is here 📢 The future of ICE-powered vehicle's are just around the corner 🚗 ⛽ The 2026 FIA Formula 1 Technical Regulations are setting a new blueprint that is more competitive, safer, and crucially, more sustainable. With the unveiling of these much-anticipated regulations, the FIA is defining the sport's direction from 2026 onwards, with a strong emphasis on sustainability. Sustainability at the Forefront: From 2026, Formula 1 cars will run on fully sustainable fuel, underscoring a commitment to environmentally responsible racing. This ‘drop-in’ fuel can be used in almost any ICE-powered vehicle, offering a game-changing solution to greenhouse gases in the transportation sector. By 2030, with 1.2 billion ICE cars on the road worldwide, this innovation could significantly reduce emissions on an industrial scale. The 2026 power units will also enhance sustainability through a balanced distribution of 50% electrical and 50% thermal power, aligning with the FIA's objective of achieving Net Zero carbon by 2030. Innovation Driven by Competition: Historically, conflict has accelerated technological advancement; today, sports like Formula 1 serve as catalysts for innovation. The demands of motorsport push technological boundaries, driving progress that impacts the broader automotive industry. With the introduction of 100% sustainable fuels, Formula 1 is pioneering solutions that challenge the dominance of electric vehicles and suggest a viable, greener future for internal combustion engines. This bold move could be key to a diverse and sustainable automotive landscape, where innovation knows no bounds. I just hope they can replicate the sound of those classic F1 V10 engines! #Sustainability #Innovation #Formula1 #FutureOfRacing #SustainableFuel
