Exciting news! The AI Governance Copilot will start rolling out in the coming weeks. It will provide guidance on: - ISO 42001 - NIST RMF - EU AI Act We understand that AI management systems should work in harmony with existing ISMS. That’s why the assistant also helps with ISO 27001/ISO 42001 integration. Additional features like temporary chats and an EU-specific version will be released progressively. While AI can assist with your compliance efforts, we always recommend working with experts for hands-on assistance (check out bettersecurity.ai). We’re also opening training deals for partners. My recent research on #GenAiforclouds revealed that while the happy path in all #AIimplementations is the path most taken, it's best to follow the SAD path to remain SAIF (Safe AI framework). The SAD path includes Security, Accessibility, and Deployment. It's essential to keep these in mind to ensure responsible AI practices. Here's a checklist for your #AIimplementation: ✅ Infrastructure ✅ Cost ✅ Scalability This paper by Google makes a claim that's worth the read. They closely track and monitor forthcoming industry standards such as the ISO/IEC 42001 AI Management System Standard, the recently published NIST AI Risk Management Framework, and global regulatory developments to ensure they continue to develop and deliver tools that serve their customers' needs. As per the EU AI Act, I've delved deep into the processes needed for a comprehensive conformity assessment across all six pillars for AI systems: System Design, Risk Assessment, Data Governance, Transparency & Explainability, Bias & Fairness, and Human Oversight. Each pillar entails thorough controls, procedures, and documentation, making the process notably labor-intensive and highly manual. These procedures align with established frameworks like NIST AI RMF and ISO/IEC 42001:2023, demanding a high level of technical proficiency. The question arises: Will organizations internally develop programs to meet these requirements, or opt to outsource to a third-party entity as certifications for AI systems become a necessity in the near future? I don't believe there are any platforms that do it all in an automated manner. Some examples of the types of controls: Model Development, Model Performance including Model Drift, Data Validity, Bias Elimination, Fairness Metrics evaluation and Assessment. #aiconformityassessment #aicompliance #aisecurity
