So many rehab therapists and payors alike are increasingly interested in digital health solutions. However, many are not turning that interest into action and are entirely unfamiliar with Remote Therapeutic Monitoring. In this article, we focus on pediatrics, and complex populations while discussing the importance that this type of technology can play in intervention. In a time where there are increasing barriers to care, declining reimbursement, and decreasing positive engagement in care- no one can afford to wait. #digitalhealth #remotemonitoring #pediatrics #telehealth #physicaltherapy #occupationaltherapy
Remote Therapeutic Monitoring can be a game-changer for patients and families in the pediatric space. Adding RTM technologies to a plan of care can provide a vital window into patient performance outside of the clinical environment. In our latest whitepaper, Lindsay Watson PT, MPT Amy Pratt, PT, MPT, and Kaitlyn O'Connor dive into common questions regarding the use of RTM in the pediatric space: ❓ Why RTM? 💻 What is RTM? 🔤 What are the CPT codes? 💲 Who can bill these codes? 📋 What does research say about RTM and RPM? 🏥 What are the benefits of RTM from a payor perspective? Luminesce Alliance celebrates International Clinical Trials Day and the 250th anniversary of the first clinical trial by honoring trial leaders, support teams, and participants. We thank our clinical trial teams and community participants for advancing our health system and enabling new discoveries and treatments. International Clinical Trials Day marks May 20, 1774, when James Lind linked citrus fruits to scurvy prevention. Earlier trials include a 1537 experiment by Ambroise Paré, who treated wounds with a mixture that reduced pain and inflammation. Clinical trials have evolved significantly and are now crucial in modern medicine. How does Luminesce Alliance support clinical trials? We provide financial support for the delivery of clinical trials and professional training opportunities, including webinars and workshops, to enhance workforce capacity and foster connections. #ClinicalTrialsDay #HealthcareInnovation #MedicalResearch

On this World Clinical Trials Day, we reflect on the pioneering spirit that drives clinical research and its profound impact on advancing medicine and improving lives. Today marks the anniversary of what is considered to be the first randomized clinical trial, conducted by James Lind in 1747 aboard HMS Salisbury. He not only found a cure for scurvy but also established the principles of clinical research that have saved countless lives since. As we commemorate this day, we recognize the visionary spirit that underpins the clinical research community and are proud of the essential “bench to bedside” role Nucleus Network plays in bridging the gap between innovative laboratory discoveries and tangible patient treatments. May 20 is a day to celebrate the progress we’ve made and the future we’re shaping. It’s a reflection of the tireless efforts of clinical research professionals and their commitment to advancing healthcare, serving as a reminder of the importance of clinical trials in achieving that goal. It is also a day to honor the incredible dedication of volunteers who are instrumental in this journey. Their commitment provides researchers with invaluable data, helping to uncover new treatments and improve healthcare for all. We are profoundly thankful for their selfless participation, which accelerates medical progress. Together, let’s honor the past, celebrate the present, and look forward to a future where clinical trials continue to bring forth life-changing discoveries. #WorldClinicalTrialsDay #ClinicalTrials #Biopharma #phase1trials #medicalinnovation
