In response to years of more numerous and larger screens in the vehicle, I've been hearing industry murmurs that there's going to be a "digital backtrack". Well, here it is. Europe's automotive safety body, NCAP has said that by 2026, at least 5 important tasks in every car will have to be performed by actual buttons instead of by accessing a screen. This means that physical controls are about to become trendy again!   Developments in the market such as these are exactly what the researchers in our Reports Team are tracking day-in day-out.
