We are loving the chili oil trend right now, so when we noticed a gap in the market, we just had to do something about it. PSC Tuscan Dream was made with big, spicy, bold flavors like garlic, onion, and oregano, because we wanted to create a seasoning for Italian-inspired dishes. 🇮🇹 PSC Tuscan Dream is specially designed to pair perfectly with Italian cuisine. This blend can be mixed into a vinaigrette or turned into a hot chili oil and drizzled over an Italian sandwich, salad, or pasta dish. The possibilities are endless! 💡What do you think about PSC Tuscan Dream? How would you apply this blend?

When it comes to enjoying Italian cuisine, there are few things that rival the perfect pairing of pasta with wine. For those delectable tomato-based and spicy sauces, opt for a robust red wine. However, when indulging in pasta dressed with olive oil or creamy sauces, a crisp white wine is the ideal choice. The right wine can truly elevate the flavors of your favorite pasta dishes, making each meal a memorable experience. #ItalianCuisine #WinePairing

🌍🇮🇹 How Much Do We Love Pasta? 🍝❤️ As Italians, our passion for pasta goes beyond just a meal; it's an integral part of our culture and everyday conversations! During our lessons, we dive deep into not only the art of cooking pasta but also the rich traditions surrounding it. Do you, as educators, incorporate discussions about pasta and our culinary customs into your classes? How do you introduce the many types of pasta to your students? At what language level do you think it's most effective to start this delicious discourse? To engage our students further, I propose an interactive activity: “Pasta Around Italy”! Here's how it works: 1. Research Task: Assign each student a different type of pasta (e.g., spaghetti, penne, farfalle, etc.). They should research its origin, shape, and traditional recipes associated with it. 2. Presentation: Have students present their findings to the class, explaining why their chosen pasta is unique and how it’s typically enjoyed in Italy. 3. Cooking Demonstration: If feasible, consider a cooking class where students can prepare a simple pasta dish together, enhancing their practical vocabulary and cultural knowledge. This activity can be adapted for different language levels, starting from A2, where students can learn basic vocabulary, up to B2, where they can engage in more complex discussions about regional pasta varieties and their historical significance. Let’s celebrate our love for pasta and enrich our language learning experience with the flavors of Italy! 🇮🇹✨ #PastaLove #ItalianCulture #LanguageLearning #CulinaryTraditions #TeachingItalian

I'm doing very important research on local cuisine and Maryland oysters. What is the best dish you've had locally at a bar or restaurant that has included oysters? Stew? Soup? Raw? Steamed? Fried? Breaded? Baked? Charbroiled? Grilled? Some way I don't need to know about but do? I need to know so I can dig in on the taste.

Croissant Craze: 🍰 Have You Seen These New Variations? I love a cronut or cruffin 😋, and now there is a crookie and a pizza croissant! Seems like a croissant is pretty versatile! According to Yelp's latest State of the Industry Report, viral food trends are making their way onto more restaurant menus. Paris Baguette just launched its Supreme Croissant filled with lemon curd cream and chocolate custard. These new interpretations are not only delighting our taste buds but also spiking online searches. For instance, searches for the Crookie—a croissant stuffed with a chocolate chip cookie—rose by a staggering 23,300% in March 2024. And the Flat Croissant and Pizza Croissant, have seen a 5,411% and 372% increase in popularity over the last year. With croissant cubes and crisps also making waves, it's clear that this croissant renaissance is here to stay. I'd love to hear about any other croissant trends you've come across or currently offer. Your contributions could inspire the next viral sensation! 💡 #FoodTrends #CroissantCraze #BakeryInnovation

The history of pizza can be traced back to ancient times, with its roots deeply embedded in Italy. This beloved dish has a rich and storied past, evolving over centuries to become a worldwide culinary phenomenon. From the traditional Neapolitan Margherita to the modern-day gourmet creations, pizza has captured the hearts and taste buds of people across the globe. The origins of pizza can be dated back to the ancient Greeks and Romans, who enjoyed flatbreads topped with various ingredients. However, it was in Naples, Italy, where the modern pizza as we know it today began to take shape. The iconic Margherita pizza, with its simple yet delicious combination of tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil, was created in honor of Queen Margherita of Savoy in the late 19th century. Today, pizza has become a symbol of unity and celebration, bringing people together to share a meal and create lasting memories. It is estimated that over 5 billion pizzas are sold worldwide each year, showcasing the universal appeal of this versatile dish. Whether you prefer a classic pepperoni pizza or a gourmet pie topped with exotic ingredients, there is a pizza for every palate. The tradition of making and enjoying pizza has been passed down through generations, with each region adding its own unique twist to the dish. From the wood-fired ovens of Naples to the bustling pizzerias of New York City, pizza continues to evolve and adapt to changing tastes and trends. The hashtag #PizzaLovers is a testament to the enduring love and passion that people have for this beloved culinary tradition. In conclusion, the history of pizza is a fascinating journey that reflects the cultural diversity and culinary creativity of our world. Whether you are a die-hard pizza enthusiast or simply enjoy an occasional slice, the story of pizza is one that continues to unfold with each delicious bite. #PizzaHistory #DeliciousTraditions #PizzaCulture
