𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿: 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄 Angel investing drives innovation and empowers early-stage startups. Here are three key takeaways for aspiring angels: 1️⃣ Who Can Invest: Learn the qualifications for accredited investors, including income and net worth requirements. 2️⃣ Why It Matters: Angel investments fuel innovation, create jobs, and offer financial diversification. 3️⃣ How Angels Invest: Explore approaches like individual investments or joining angel groups for collaborative opportunities. David Cohen and Chris Heivly brought us home yesterday to round out our three part fundraising series x Boyd Innovation Center, powered by GrowCo. My personal favorite takeaways: 💥 Re: why an investor will want to invest: TEAM > everything. Be more attached to the problem than attached to the solution. 💥 Re: loneliness on the entrepreneurial journey: surround yourself with a great support system, ideally through co-founders. Immerse yourself in community through your local startup community, uni alum network, accelerator programs, etc. 💥 Re: transparency from investors: ask them their two biggest success stories + two biggest failed investments. 💥 Re: the biggest mistake founders make: pre-investment: forgetting to ASK for the investment post-investment: not communicating enough and not asking for help Find the humans that believe in YOU and your idea. Have some fun along the way too. #GrowCola
