SUGGESTION | During my time in Milan, I encountered an interesting practice at a restaurant located along Corso Buenos Aires. The lunch set promotion was priced at 10 euros for locals, but if you were unable to converse in Italian, you were handed the "Tourist Menu" in English, where the exact same meal was priced at 30 euros. Essentially, being perceived as a tourist cost you three times more than a local. This practice, though controversial, is not uncommon in international settings, and it raises a question; why should Malaysia not adopt a similar approach? There is a pressing need to ensure that locals are not subjected to inflated prices intended for tourists. By doing so, we would be aligning with global standards and promoting fairness in pricing.
