On the 9th of November 2024, I had the opportunity of visiting the Consolidated Business Systems Limited coconut processing plant in Kuliyapitiya as part of the 19th BFST Batch field visit. This visit provided me with invaluable insights into the production of coconut-based products, including coconut oil, desiccated coconut, and coconut milk. The experience greatly enhanced my understanding of sustainable food processing and the innovative applications of coconut in the food industry.
