One of my favorite stories is of a farmer who took an eagle's egg and hatched it with chicken's eggs. The eaglet hatched and grew with chicks but could not fly because it was living amongst chickens, which do not fly. While the chicken could feed on grains and other chicken feeds, the eaglet could not feed on the same food due to its beak's unique characteristics. With time, its conscience started developing, the inner locus gained control and fed on chicks.  The farmer decided to eliminate the eaglet, and as he was chasing the eaglet, he jumped onto the fence and finally flew away.  This story reinforces that we are born with innate abilities and great potential, which aren't expressed unless we're in the right environment. We need the right environment to bloom. Our surrounding environment influences our abilities and actions to a high degree.  Growth thrives in favorable conditions. You and I grow the most when we surround ourselves with people and opportunities conducive to our development. Is your current environment conducive to growth?
