FinOps and #Metadata Enjoyed a discussion today with @DeanaSolis and @StephenOlds on #finops . Was reminded of that old concept of #activitybasedcosting (ABC) which is applicable to much of FinOps. FinOps is complex, moves as fast as cloud native innovation (see #CNCF ), but has strong ties to #changemanagement, #projectmanagement. Yet it must be tied to business initiatives, where taxonomies and metadata change as often and as arbitrarily as org charts. https://lnkd.in/eqDdZf4G
