I'm thrilled to share the highlights from yesterday's afterwork event, "Revue des Défis, Enjeux et Risques Juridiques en 2025," held at the start up accelerator offices of Orange Tunisie. The event was co-organized by Senda MAAOUIA and myself, and generously hosted by Orange Tunisie. It was a fantastic opportunity to discuss the key challenges and risks to be anticipated by the legal directors in the coming year. The event kicked off with a warm welcome and introduction by Senda MAAOUIA, followed by a presentation of ACC MENA - Association of Corporate Counsel by Maha DRISS. ✳️ We kicked off the discussion by identifying the emerging risks, such as regulatory compliance, contract complexity, data protection, geopolitical and economic crises. We delved into the importance of staying vigilant and compliant with new laws and regulations, especially in the rapidly evolving environments. Then we explored the different risk management techniques as well as opportunities to acquire new skills and enlarge our sphere of influence in the corporate environment. 🚀 In the second part of the event, we had an exciting demo from the brilliant Rafik Hwimli on his Contractzlab solution, showcasing innovative solutions for managing legal and compliance risks. The attendees were highly engaged and enthusiastic, contributing to lively discussions and sharing valuable insights. Their interaction and enthusiasm truly made the event a success! 👏 🏆 We are also pleased to announce that we already have volunteers for the next two events, ensuring that our afterwork series continues to provide valuable opportunities for learning and networking.
