These methods allow maltsters to purchase and process substantial amounts of grain⁠ that would have otherwise been relegated to the feed market or landfill. This approach⁠ not only helps salvage valuable crops, but also demonstrates the industry's adaptability⁠ in facing ongoing challenges.⁠ ⁠ 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿⁠ ⁠ 📢 Brent Manning of Riverbend Malt House ⁠ Brent Manning, co-founded Riverbend Malt House in 2010. He helped to establish the Craft Maltsters Guild back in the day, and he served as our President from 2017 to 2022. Manning's multifaceted expertise and dedication have played a pivotal role in shaping both Riverbend and the broader craft malt industry.

Let's continue exploring the Grodan 6-phase model. In previous videos, we shared tips to ensure complete root penetration of the entire substrate volume. Phase 3 is focused on growth and balance. This phase avoids shocks in development by retaining the right balance of fruit load and growing power through even water and nutrients, and the development of strong lateral roots.
