And, of course, the patient had no idea about the cost ahead of the procedure. N Kikkeri MD actually tried to estimate a fair cost during this week's Self-Funded with Spencer, and we arrived at an absolute maximum of 100k, and more likely around 60k. Still an expensive procedure, but that cost would be given upfront to the patient with no surprise billing afterward.
