Eco Clubs Vs EcoXRclubs Traditional eco clubs in schools typically rely on manual methods for organizing events and promoting environmental awareness, often focusing on local initiatives. In contrast, the emerging EcoXRclubs embrace advanced technologies like virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) to revolutionize environmental activism. EcoXRclubs integrate immersive experiences, global collaboration, and data-driven solutions. They leverage VR and AR for virtual field trips, global meetings, and data visualization, enabling members to engage with environmental issues on a broader scale. Additionally, EcoXRclubs facilitate international cooperation, empowering members to collaborate on global projects and share best practices. Through innovative campaigns and virtual outreach efforts, they expand advocacy beyond physical boundaries, reaching diverse audiences worldwide. By harnessing technology, EcoXRclubs foster creativity, inclusivity, and accessibility, ensuring that environmental activism is not limited by physical constraints. In essence, while traditional eco clubs serve their purpose, EcoXRclubs represent a new era of environmental education and activism, harnessing the power of technology to inspire meaningful change on a global scale.

I envision a future where: > "Yesterday" was made of children locked in an unreal world of video games; > "Today" is about children with creativity unlocked thanks to the ability to use their hands and imagination while respecting the environment and the community.   There is no "one-size-fits-all" solution for achieving certain dreams. But we can all work on inspiring projects that can be replicated anywhere. These were my two main aims when I founded "Creando si impara" (by creating, you learn): 1) I wanted to promote education, sustainable tourism and responsible consumption (United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 4, 8 and 12) among the young generation. 2) And I wanted my approach to be replicable worldwide so that children, the environment and artists could benefit from it anywhere. "By creating, you learn" teaches the art of recycling to children. There are three main pillars at its base: 1)    Eco Labs revolve around crafts and nature, enabling the young participants to create art pieces with recycled materials using the imagination as a primary tool. 2)    The workshops are led by expert and creative artists focusing on environmental sustainability through art. 3)    The venue is somewhere off the beaten path, a little-known destination that can benefit from responsible tourism. For example, my pilot project is led by the talented environmental artist RE and is based in Feudo S.Pietro.
