The final Q4 push is happening at Conquering Business Development. Grafting hard at the moment, setting our clients up for a solid start into Q1 2025 and working to deliver on growth objectives. Here’s a look into what’s happening at the moment: - Business Growth & Exit Strategy Delivery, I’ve got 2 x firms who are in different stages of this, very interesting stuff! I can now say we are helping our clients to become more valuable, and we are!! - All eggs in one basket scenarios - helping clients to mitigate risk and develop a handful of solid high growth accounts. I get clients who come to me all the time to solve this problem. I enjoy this challenge because sometimes it can be a real challenge, they might be superb at delivery, however it’s their systems and processes which often let them down, and they tend to have no business development system in place, all usually fixable elements for us to deliver on straight away in order to build a solid platform for their business to growth sustainably. - 7 New Business Meetings for key client targets secured for January. - 3 Projects have been secured so far this month with major client targets for our clients - 2 clients had meetings onsite with a QS who is working on a Multimillion pound Residential New Build project in London. - 1 client secured works with a major multidisciplinary consultancy in London who have a drive on with fire safety and refurbishment works. - 1 client is in final stage talks on the contract to deliver the refurbishment works on a private members club in London, starting in spring 2025. - 1 client is a family business who are developing their business development foundation and growth strategy for succession planning purposes. When James Cole launched Chorley-based Panache Cruises in 2020 he had no idea about the stormy water ahead.🚢🌊 The global pandemic brought the travel industry to a standstill but the CEO set his course to become the world’s largest seller of luxury and ultra luxury cruises by 2030. Today, the business has grown turnover to £22.2m and is targeting £100m turnover by 2027/28. Boost’s Access to Finance service has helped Cole with preparing the business and helping it to apply for and secure £500,000 investment from Rosebud Business Finance. Cole said: “There’s a really good network of support for businesses in Lancashire. Ultimately what we’re doing is creating jobs in Lancashire.” Now, Panache is taking part in the third cohort of Boost’s Scale to Thrive programme for scaling Lancashire businesses. Branching into the US, Panache opened its first US office in Orlando in June, and has already generated $3m in sales.
