Launching Monday - Part-66 UKCAA to EASA Differences course for CAT B licences. This new self-study bundle has been designed to bridge the knowledge requirements between UKCAA and EASA for Part-66 CAT B1 and B2 licences. Following the EASA regulation changes in June 2024, all EASA modules (with the exception of Modules 1 and 17) require students to study additional sub-modules/content compared to the UKCAA syllabus. These additional sub-modules/content often cover a range of technical knowledge, operational procedures, and compliance standards that align with EASA’s approach to aviation safety and regulations. NEW ANNOUNCEMENT FROM EASA!! If a candidate has not passed BOTH MCQ and ESSAY for Module 9 and/or Module 10, then they will need to sit a post-989 EASA MCQ exam, even if they have already passed a current (pre-989) MCQ exam in these modules. There is no ESSAY requirement for M9 or M10 in the post-989 syllabus. So, to make it more clear if a candidate has taken a pre-989 MCQ exam and now requires a post-989 EASA exam then they do not need to observe the minimum 90-day waiting period. As we share this '10th Anniversary Celebrations' article from our Summer 2024 issue of #BAM, we'd like to congratulate all at Academy 147 on this milestone and wish them the best for the next decade. Here, Andrew Trinchero, Academy 147’s co-founder and Managing Director, talks to Anthony Harrington about the firm’s first 10 years and his plans for the next 10. We certainly look forward to covering their progress in our magazine over the next decade. "Getting started with what was a really new idea, taking maintenance and safety training onsite, wherever the client was in the world, took a huge amount of graft and effort to get traction." “The Level 3 EASA courses involve four weeks of theory and two weeks’ practical training. These would be, for example, for a licensed engineer to get a new aircraft type added to their license.” "Undoubtedly, the decade ahead is going to be even more exciting. The industry knows us now as a top quality training provider." People keep asking me, so I’ve decided to start posting video reviews of some of the airway education training products we test and use at the Protected Airway Collaborative’s training programs. We receive a lot of feedback from learners and gain valuable insight into the relative worth of a wide range of educational products. So, if you’re thinking about purchasing that $3000 airway trainer, you can see what we think before making a decision! Here's a preview. https://lnkd.in/gnmEBdWD
