This state-of-the-art plasterboard cutting robot left me impressed with its incredible capabilities and the numerous benefits it brings to the table. #Innovation A significant advantage of the KOBOTS is its ability to control dust. Dust particles can pose several health hazards, especially in construction environments. The dust control feature ensures a much safer working environment for our team members. Furthermore, by automating the process and removing the need for human intervention near hazardous areas, we minimise the risk of accidents or injuries. #HealthandSafety 👍🏼 The KOBOTS' impressive prowess in cutting boards, controlling dust, improving health and safety, and increasing speed has left me in awe. Life cycle assessment made easy - a workshop at NOI Techpark Bruneck ✅ Endowed professor for sustainable manufacturing, Prof. Erwin Rauch and his team with Michaela Golser, MSc in Engineering, Davide Don and Mattia Gualco will hold a workshop on "Life Cycle Assessment in production companies". This event is supported by the South Tyrolean Handelskammer Bozen. The aim is to support companies in setting up a life cycle assessment to systematically analyze the environmental impact and measure the carbon footprint of their products. The Navarra Industry Foundation recently invited representatives from GrafTech Spain to present at a sustainability symposium to share findings and progress related to the site’s sustainability and energy transition initiatives. Abel Martinez, Safety, Health and Environmental Engineer, explained how GrafTech, in collaboration with an external advisor and consultant, proactively calculated and verified the carbon footprint of our Navarra facility according to ISO 14064 standards. Mr. Martinez also emphasized the importance of developing an all-encompassing system that accounts for all of the site’s energy consumption. This is a critical step towards accurately determining carbon footprint and has allowed us to continue to innovate and improve our processes. #graftech #EAF #sustainability #ESG
