Just rolled out a fun little feature that customers have been asking us for a while. Until now, the "Raise a request on behalf of a customer" feature has only been available to agents in Atlassian's Jira Service Management. With our "Request access on behalf of" feature, any user can now request apps and access for other users. Use cases for this are a manager requesting access for one of their reports, or an employee requesting access for an external contractor.

Are you frustrated by the functionality of the description field in Jira? We've developed a Jira Marketplace App POC (image below) which integrates the OurSails platform directly with Jira to convert our real time, auto-saving, collaborative document directly with your Jira tasks. This custom field would replace the standard description field in Jira, as well as offering enhanced functionality such as templating for much needed time savings. Our team members have used Jira for 8+ years and the description field has always been a pain for us and our colleagues. Forgetting to save, conflicting updates, and no way of being collaborative causes frustration and leads to wasted time or incorrectly developed stories. Before we move forward with fully developing and publishing this app, I’d love to hear your thoughts. These pain points could go away with the OurSails integration.
