But what do climate scientists know about climate, right? [EDIT: Perhaps I should have specified that this was a rhetorical question, considering the amount of reactions to this post that comment 'yes, exactly, what do scientists know about science!' I thought climate deniers had moved on from hardcore science denial of anthropogenic climate change. It's been a while since I heard the old school 'the climate has always been changing' rhetoric. In conclusion, let me be clear that climate deniers are moving ever closer to Flat Earthers on the spectrum of science denial, and that all climate deniers are conspiracy theorists since they require a huge conspiracy between scientists and governments, NASA etc (that fortunately the fossil fuel companies and the world's billionaires have opened our eyes to).]

While reading these scientific texts, the opinion of one of the readers was interesting to me. Of course, although I believe that even after reading this article, scientists are not able to understand the depth of the terrible disaster that we are currently in. The reason for saying these words is that the natural suffocation cycle of the earth is more frightening and worrying than global warming. An issue that has nothing to do with the consumption of fossil fuels in the world, and of course contrary to the statements of all climate change scientists! Yes, it should be asked what is the difference between the current heat levels of the world and the past heat levels of the planet? It should be said that this is a fundamental question for the scientific distinction between climate change and global warming with the natural suffocation cycle of the earth. I know the answer very well and I have mentioned it in the new scientific theory of natural suffocation cycle of the earth. In addition, by presenting the scientific roadmap in this theory, we can easily cool the planet in two steps. #NewScientificTheoryOfTheEarthNaturalSuffocationCycle #BehavioralPhysicsofNaturalColloidalParticles #Mark #Foed #Transformation #Digitalsierung #Energiewender #geology #geologist #geologyrocks #geophysicist #climatescience #geochemistry #dataanalytics #earthobservation #earthscience #earthsciences #sciencecommunication #scienceeducation #sciencecommunity #sciencenews #oilandgas #oilandgasindustry #oilandgasexploration #meteorology #atmosphere #atmospheric #earthscience #earthobservation #physics #geophysics #science #sciencecommunication #scientist #environment #environmentalscience #climatescience #dataanalytics #scienceeducation #scienceexploration #politics #physics #aerosol #atmospher #airpollution #CALIPSO #CALIOP #Pasadena #ATRAIN #EarthCare #InternationalDayofCombatingSandandDustStorms #opendata #wildfires #SDSDay #EarlyWarningsforAll #delaythegreen #globalwarming #showusthedata #geopoliticalrisk #ipccreport #politik #Copernicus #EarlyWarningsForAll #esg #podcast #climatechangeadaptation #ClimateReport #climatedenial #oceanwarming #climateaction #circulareconomy #WHO #IPCC #UNClimateChange #NOAA #Cop10 #AirPollution #Air #AirReport #NASA #environmental #globalwarming #climatecrisis #COP28 #IAEA #EPA #EPA #ipccreport #globalwarming #climatecrisis #COP26 #temperature #delaythegreen #showusthedata #ActOnClimate #wildfires #data #science #oceans #globalwarming #energy #fossilfuels #coal #diesel #fuel #subsidies #carbondioxide #fossilfuelsubsidies #news #technology #power #leadership #greentech #production #PlanetaryStewardship #Sustainability #ClimateAction #EarthShot #ExponentialChange

"Disclosure" has become a polarizing word - we either hate it or love it. But most of us can agree that some level of disclosure is here to stay, and more likely coming. Join me at the #Ceres event at the Nest Climate Campus to discuss how we can make disclosures for the variety of stakeholders involved meaningful with greater efficiency and comparability. A quote from yesterday's Climate Group sessions: "every hour spent on disclosure is an hour not spent on action"! #ClimateWeekNYC https://lnkd.in/gnDtRyvX

Christian Leuchtenberg ““They would start to explain this upward circulation of air, but as they were explaining it, they often realized it didn’t actually make sense,” “ This is a great example of the illusion of explanatory depth, where people don’t understand something as well as they think they do. See https://lnkd.in/gSSxdfnu At least Windmiller is aware of that: “Windmiller is not certain what causes the Intertropical Convergence Zone’s large regions of sinking air.” That doesn’t make sense to me yet, as temperatures tend to be highest at the equator. This is an interesting idea. It is always great to revisit our assumptions. But this clearly needs more work to create a consistent and sufficient theory. Thanks for sharing.

Exciting new insights are on the horizon regarding our planet's climate dynamics. A recent blog post explores the potential collapse of a vital Atlantic current and its far-reaching implications. Oceanographer Stefan Rahmstorf emphasizes that this phenomenon is no longer considered low probability, highlighting the urgency of understanding its possible catastrophic impacts. This post sheds light on the interconnectedness of our ocean systems and the significant role they play in regulating climate. It is crucial for policymakers and the public alike to stay informed about these developments. I invite you to read the full article to delve deeper into this pressing issue and its potential repercussions on our environment. I wanted to promote the Thinking Environment approach which has been a focus of the work of Mitzi Wyman. I have known Mitzi for many years and she always talks sense with empathy and intellect. Her latest paper looks at the thinking environment through the lens of climate change, this article is attached.

Why are the world's climate science fraternity choosing to fail? According to Climate Scientist Kevin Anderson, the answer is imaginary wealth — the delusion of an organism at war with itself, dooming itself (and taking world leaders with them. The following video explains this fully. Kevin Anderson continues to be an important voice of reason on our ignored #ScienceWarnings and our ongoing #ClimateEmergency #PlanetOverProfit "An organism at war with itself is doomed." - Carl Sagan https://lnkd.in/gmAd2BXY
