Great paper in ACS Photonics, where imec researchers demonstrate how a compact optical phased array (OPA) can generate a focus through scattering media, aiming to enable microscopy at greater depths. Additionally, we show that integrated photonics can improve device compactness and operation speed compared to commonly used spatial light modulators (SLMs).
