What an incredible experience at EACTS - European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery 2024 in Lisbon! The week began with a standout live case on Wednesday, October 9th, where Prof. Tomas Holubec and his team at the University Hospital Frankfurt performed an Endoscopic Beating-Heart Tricuspid Repair Redo Surgery using our smartcanula. A special thanks to CoRRect Medical GmbH for supporting this case on-site – Bärbel Reiche and Marcus Hannen, thank you! From Thursday onwards, our booth was busy with healthcare professionals from all over the world. It was great to meet so many surgeons and experts, and I’m excited about what’s to come. Here are a few things I learned at the event: 1️⃣ Face-to-face conversations are so valuable – talking directly to people helps us understand what they need and how we can work together better. 2️⃣ Working with global partners is key – our distributors bring important local knowledge that helps us grow. 3️⃣ Teamwork makes all the difference – seeing our entire team come together and work so hard really showed me how powerful we are as a group. Big thanks to the smartcanula team - Angela Grünhagen, Andreas T., Raimondo Casu, Melissa Puscher and Marvin Lange for all the hard work and long hours before the event. It all paid off! A special shout-out to our international distributors. Their commitment to speaking with surgeons and healthcare professionals was incredible – they made our booth feel like a joint effort and helped make the event such a success. 🎉 Special Thanks to Jules Flach and Coco Wei who came all the way from Hong Kong to support us in Lisbon! You guys are amazing! Looking forward to what we can achieve together!
