Fusion food isn’t just fun. It’s smart business. When we introduced items like Chicken Rezala Puff and Hariali Kebab Croissant, it wasn’t just because we thought they’d taste good (though they do). It was part of a bigger strategy. The younger generation today? They don’t want the same old menu. They want something new, something bold, something different. And we saw that early on. Fusion is Fun: These new twists on classics are exciting, and they give our customers something to talk about. Fusion is Affordable: It’s not high-end fine dining. It’s delicious, experimental food at a price everyone can enjoy. We’re not just selling food. We’re selling an experience that keeps customers coming back, especially the younger crowd who are looking for tasty, affordable fusion food with a twist.

Consumers are becoming increasingly adventurous with their taste profiles, with a particular interest in new authentic global dishes beyond the well known favourites. In honour of Cinco de Mayo, we're diving into the vibrant world of authentic Mexican cuisine, with two of our favourite Mexican street food recipes. Pork taco el pastor and charred sweetcorn elotes ❤️ - both of which are zesty, spicy and smoky! 56% of consumers are willing to pay more for a dish they perceive as more authentic, and our researchers have deep dived into how to fully achieve this. From the right ingredients to the right cooking styles and techniques, we reveal the key areas to consider to successfully recreate a traditional global dish. Food! Glorious food! I’m not going to lie, I love to eat. I’m talking ‘proper’ food. Freshly prepared, home-cooked food. Love it. Love it. Love it. But what I love even more than eating it, is preparing it. There’s just something about taking some raw ingredients and making them into a delicious combination of tastes, textures, and colours. I’m no Michelin starred chef (obviously). I may not even make line cook at a chain restaurant standard. But that does not dull my passion for cooking or experimenting in the kitchen. Although the experimentation often highlights culinary shortcomings rather than any kind of creative genius. But, give me a recipe and I’ll have a go. My favourite TV show is Saturday Kitchen, and very few episodes pass without me adding a recipe to my ‘List of Things to Make’. I lose myself in shows like Stanley Tucci’s ‘Searching for Italy’ with all the history and culture of food front and centre. It inspires me. And it’s an escape from all the hustle and bustle of life. There’s something just oddly calming about cooking. But what I love most about being in the kitchen and preparing a meal - more than getting to eat it myself - is seeing someone else enjoy it. So there you go, now you know something else about me. I’m Andy White, wannabe chef. What's one thing you love to do? #about me #thingsilove #passions #food #metaphor #creativity #cooking #love #discovery #selfawareness
