Cosmetics Europe - The Personal Care Association’s Post

Hosted by Members of the European Parliament (MEPs), Marie-Pierre Vedrenne and Elżbieta Łukacijewska, poseł do Parlamentu Europejskiego "The Future of Cosmetics: Ensuring Safety, Sustainability, and Competitiveness’’ event took place yesterday at the EP in Strasbourg, France. This policymakers’ dinner was organised by Cosmetics Europe in partnership with The Parliament Magazine. The event featured insightful discussions on the evolving landscape of EU’s regulations for cosmetics including, new chemicals safety assessments, the implementation challenges faced by the industry and opportunities laying ahead. A big thank you to MEPs Pietro Fiocchi, Magdalena Adamowicz, Kamila Gasiuk-Pihowicz and Marta Wcisło for also joining us last night. As the next 2024- 2029 EU institutional mandate starts, it is crucial to raise awareness on the significant socio-economic contribution of our sector among stakeholders and work together to continue to ensure a prosperous cosmetics industry in Europe.
