I had such an inspiring chat with Aimee Boulanger at the IRMA Initiative for Responsible Mining Assurance about improving the social and environmental impacts of the mining sector. IRMA is a standard for miners based on best practices already being implemented around the world. It allows companies to prove ethical behaviour, or understand what they can do better to align themselves with the requirements of their buyers.
