Over the past few months, I’ve had many requests to help folks buy land so they can put multiple homes on it for their family. If you’re interested in doing this, be sure to check these things ⬇️ Number 1️⃣: The property can be subdivided or the zoning that allows for multiple homes. Number 2️⃣: Be sure all closing costs are considered when doing this, as it often involves pricey survey costs and multiple closings to be sure each family has separate parcels. Number 3️⃣: Be sure any subdivision that you do doesn’t adversely affect the value of the parcels. I’ve seen many times where driveways and access easements make properties very hard to sell in the future because of how families divide the property. The elite effects of higher-end properties is real. Segregation in the future of real estate might be self imposed and revolve around higher value properties. Income and wealth will be the new big determinants of discrimination. I am just being a little controversial today.
