I don’t think there is a true average number of events to expect to plan each year, but during peak wedding season I used to coordinate 4.5 weddings per month, when I worked in the concert world I would host shows and events 28 days out of the months, and when I worked in sports my schedule was determine by the team’s schedule. Essentially, the area of the events world that you fall into can determine how busy you may be. Overall, this world is not for the faint of heart and may not be ideal for those who live by a structured scheduled, as the hospitality industry can be one of the most unpredictable industries. #EventPlanning #EventManagement #HospitalityIndustry #Hotels #Restaurants #Tourism #WomenInHospitality

Planning a wedding? Let’s talk hotel blocks! When it comes to accommodating your guests, here’s a tip: stick to ONE hotel block rather than two. Here’s why: 1️⃣ Get the best rates & perks! Putting everyone in a single hotel means we can negotiate better rates for you and score awesome concessions. Who doesn’t love saving some cash while still enjoying luxury? 2️⃣ Smooth logistics for transportation! Coordinating shuttle services becomes a breeze when everyone is in one spot. Whether it’s getting to the venue or heading out for post-wedding adventures, keeping everyone together makes travel hassle-free. 3️⃣ Keep the party going! From brunch gatherings to after-party shenanigans, having everyone in one place makes it easy to stick together and enjoy every moment of your special weekend. So, save yourself the stress and streamline your wedding plans by opting for a single hotel block. Trust us, your guests will thank you! 🥂

As someone who frequently visits hotels, I am always impressed when they go above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Getting an amenity upon arrival is always a nice touch, but the ones that stand out are the ones that are personalized to my interests. I recently stayed at the SLS Beverly Hills and was surprised with Cheetos and sweet/salty nuts as my amenity - it was different, fun and memorable. I challenge hotel salespeople to look beyond the standard amenity offerings and really personalize them to the guest's interests. For example, if they enjoy sports, incorporate a Sports Illustrated into the amenity. Or if they love to cook, how about an amenity that includes a recipe? Let's start the era of personalization in the hotel industry. #Personalization #Hotels #Travel #Hospitality

🌟✨ Why Personalization Matters in a 5-Star Hotel ✨🌟 In luxury hospitality, it’s not just about beautiful surroundings—it’s about making guests feel truly valued. Imagine this: 💼 A business traveler finds a desk ready for work and a note wishing them success. 👩❤️👨 A couple celebrating an anniversary is surprised with champagne and a sunset dinner. 👨👩👧 A family arrives to coloring books for the kids and tailored activity suggestions. ✨ Why personalize? 1️⃣ It makes guests feel special. 2️⃣ It builds loyalty and lasting impressions. 3️⃣ It turns a stay into a story they’ll share. At a 5-star hotel, the little details make the biggest difference. 💫 #PersonalizedService #LuxuryHotels #GuestExperience #HospitalityExcellence #5StarService

🌟 Mile-High Hospitality Services 🌟 Fasten Your Seatbelts! According to recent forecasts, the demand for flights continues to grow, with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) predicting over 5 billion passengers in 2025. With numbers soaring, so does the demand for luxury traveling. To improve travelers' experience, airlines are providing luxury perks as well as wellness programs, while private jets are upgrading their services with Michelin-starred catering on board and more. But what about on-the-ground hospitality? After all, the journey continues on land. As a seasoned event professional, I've had the privilege of staying at numerous hotels worldwide. My last stop was at the JW Marriott Hotel São Paulo where I experienced exceptional hospitality. Here are three things that made my 24-hour stay unforgettable: 🔵 Personalized Touch: While waiting for my upgraded suite, I was treated to a complimentary drink at the lobby bar. The barista crafted an off-the-menu mocha with cacao aka real chocolate, going above and beyond to make me feel welcome. 🔵 Thoughtful Gestures: Upon arriving at my room, I found a bowl of local nuts, including Brazilian Nuts (if you never heard of them, stop missing out!), accompanied by a heartfelt note. The message acknowledged my loyalty to Marriott Bonvoy and wished I used my time there to focus on things that mattered. 🔵 Emotional Connection: Note that I didn’t mention the impeccable room or amazing food (although, as a Brazilian, I'm biased towards the menu) but rather how they made me feel. Their note hit the spot as I was there to focus on things that mattered the most at the time but the J.W Marriot Team didn’t know that and yet they did. It was a beautiful reminder that in hospitality, IT IS ALL ABOUT HOW YOU MAKE YOUR GUEST FEEL! As event professionals, we strive to deliver unforgettable experiences that leave a lasting impression on our stakeholders. This can be achieved through small gestures, such as anticipating their needs, remembering their favorite wine, translating a custom-made menu to their native language and so forth. By prioritizing these personal touches, we can make our stakeholders feel valued and appreciated.
