Head of Business Development and Chief Innovation Officer @COVEA AFFINITY. I have been setting up embedded / B2B2C insurance programs for banks, OEMS, retailers for 16 years in various countries in Europe.

I always enjoy going to London. I love the city and the English are so friendly! I was in town with my mate Daniel Beliki. I had been invited by Insurance Innovators to give a keynote and take part in a panel discussion. I shared the stage with #embeddedinsurance experts Dan Woods, Gonzalo Rodriguez and Phil Hobson, which was a real privilege.  I also had some great meetings. Special thanks to Arabella Jennings, Gareth Chendlik, Alexander Heß, Rima K. and David Morse for the interesting discussions! What did I learn from these two days? 1️⃣ There's a lot of interest in #embeddedinsurance, which makes sense given that this market is still growing fast and has a lot of potential. Will we really hit the 40% mark for the share of embedded insurance in the overall P&C market? We'll see! 2️⃣ Technology and ecosystems are the main things that make a successful affinity insurance programme work. And of course you need talented people in the industry and good communication between all the different players: brokers, insurers, partner distributors, insurtech, etc. 3️⃣ The motor market is changing fast. There's a big rise in rental, electric vehicles and using vehicle data. Affinity insurers are in the front line in finding ways to exploit these opportunities and help OEMs and leasing companies among others achieve their strategic objectives. Long live the future and long live #embeddedinsurance. #CovéaAffinity
