Cowlitz Indian Tribe’s Post

Did you know the Cowlitz Indian Tribe through the Cowlitz Tribal Foundation is partnering with Habitat for Humanity to build townhomes for active-duty military members and veterans? The Tâlicn (Cowlitz word for “to help”) residential project is a 28-townhome project being developed near Olympia. Once completed, the area will feature 3- to 4-bedroom energy-efficient townhomes and a playground. Through this partnership, we aim to address the critical need for affordable and stable housing while fostering a sense of community and well-being. By incorporating energy-efficient building designs and family-friendly amenities, the Tâlicn project reflects the Tribe’s broader mission of promoting sustainable development and supporting those who have served the nation. I pray that with this and other projects which the Cowlitz Indian Tribe pursues, that the option for the use of natural gas be made available. There are problems with going totally electrical in construction. Electricity is not the most efficient way to create heat. Natural gas is more efficient. Also, electrical systems can experience outages. If the grid goes down for any reason, it would be life-supporting to have the option of using natural gas for home heating and for cooking. Another thing is that the option of natural gas provides the us with greater independence. In an all-electric world, those centralized powers that control the systems have a much greater ability to control people. With the advent and development of Artificial Intelligence, with its attending ways to track people and activities, that adds even more to the power of others, while nudging people to fall in line with the given centralized control systems. I pray that more people find ways to be able to more effectively exert our sovereignty, while avoiding being channeled into control systems which are set up and being used by those who ultimately do not have our best interests at heart, in my opinion. Let us help people more conscientiously. Aho!

So great. Material efforts. Not just thoughts and prayers. Great work.
