On the eighth day of Christmas, we celebrated World Day for Cultural Diversity with our Cox Cultural Feast! Teams from across Cox Automotive Europe – in the UK, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Germany – came together to mark the special occasion. Everyone brought a dish that represented their culture or had a personal connection. The event was such a success that we recently held a Cox Festive Feast to spread local traditions across our teams. Thank you once again to all our Mosaic ERG team members, who helped make this such a fantastic event! And remember to look out for the letter on Ralph’s jumper!

Today I quietly celebrated 3 years of service to Mercedes-Benz Hilton Head. I have been blessed to have an amazing team and support staff that has seen great change within the store and themselves. This occasion marks not only the growth and success of the company but also the enrichment and development of the team members. One remarkable trait that stands out among the team is their unwavering belief. Belief is a powerful force that can propel individuals and teams to achieve extraordinary things. As the famous quote from Shakespeare's Hamlet goes, "To be or not to be, that is the question." In the context of the modern world, we can adapt this quote to our situation: "To believe or not to believe, that is the question." In today's fast-paced and competitive world, it is crucial for individuals and organizations to have a strong sense of belief. Belief acts as a driving force, pushing us beyond our perceived limits and encouraging us to pursue our goals with unwavering determination. It instills confidence, motivates us to take risks, and fuels our resilience in the face of challenges. When a team possesses a collective belief, it becomes an unstoppable force. It creates a shared vision, aligns everyone's efforts, and fosters a sense of unity and camaraderie. The power of belief can overcome obstacles, break barriers, and turn aspirations into reality. Belief is not merely wishful thinking or blind faith. It is grounded in a deep conviction that success lies at the end of one answer: "Yes, I believe." Belief enables individuals to tap into their full potential, unlocking hidden talents and strengths. It encourages innovation, fosters creativity, and promotes a positive mindset that sees opportunities where others see obstacles. As I look back I am reminded that each team member and their belief has the power to shape their future and the future of the company. Further if you show your team the belief you have with in them imagine the endless possibilities in which they will achieve.

My First 100 Days at AL Nabooda Automobiles LLC. Here’s what I took away from it: 1. Hiring people smarter than you is a privilege, not a threat. Welcome on board, Aliaa El Wardany, CIPD L7, my first team hire. 2. Kindness matters - a leader sets the tone for the whole place. 3. Impact is key - a team moves at the speed of its boss. 4. Diverse perspectives are gold - have the courage to bring in talent from outside your industry. 5. Employer branding is everyone's job - every employee plays a role in shaping a company's reputation, whether they realize it or not. Looking ahead, my goal is to build the greatest department I can, with my team, Celine Heera Keerthana Krishna Jinky P. Rafath Khan Harshavardhan B Jishnu K. Krishnan Fehzad Muhammad Khan, one that earns everyone's recognition.

Being an Empathic Leader: The Power of Understanding, In leadership, it’s easy to focus on results, goals, and ambitions. But the real strength of leadership lies in empathy—the ability to truly connect with your team, understand their challenges, and support their growth. How do you do that? Ask "How can I help you?"—This simple question shows that you’re there to support, not just direct. Say "Let’s do it together"—Collaboration fosters trust and makes your team feel empowered. Remind them "Even I failed the first time"—It’s important to show vulnerability and that mistakes are part of the learning process. Encourage with "Let’s explore the possibilities"—Focus on opportunities and solutions, not just problems. Ambition is important, but balancing it with empathy is what leads to sustainable success. When your team knows that you're not just pushing them for results but genuinely care about their well-being and growth, they’ll feel motivated and supported to give their best. Look after your people, and they’ll look after the goals. 🤝 #EmpathyInLeadership #Teamwork #LeadWithCompassion

As leaders, CXO, Managers you're responsible for many things. And all of them seem important. But as someone in charge of other people - your job is to enable them to be at their best. And i's simple, Ask, listen, and treat them with genuine respect. They'll do their best. But they will come to rely on you. And most of them will also be loyal. Thing to note: it's not a one time thing. You have to keep doing it. It has to be a lifestyle of a leader.

What a difference leaders can make in the everyday lives of the employees just by behaving like a good mentor. The same goes for colleagues. Treat others like you would like to be treated. Which can be hard if you have negative experiences. And it is possible if you want to change your own negative experiences and collect positive ones. Hurt people hurt people and it is everyone’s responsibility to work on themselves, to sort out their problems, get support and so focus more on the positive aspects instead of getting stuck in the negative aspects.
