𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗮 𝗳𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼-𝗼𝗽 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿! ⁣ ☑️ 48 students showed up for Career Fair Prep Workshops, ⁣ ☑️ 125 students shopped the Wildcat Wardrobe Pop-Up Shop, and ⁣ ☑️ 70 students participated in the G.R.I.P. event! ⁣ ⁣ 𝗡𝗢𝗪: 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀!⁣  ⁣ 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗬, 𝗦𝗘𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥 𝟭𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰⁣ 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧: 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 – 𝗚𝗘 𝗔𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲⁣ WHEN: 10 AM – 5 PM⁣ WHERE: UK Pigman Engr. Seattle University students here are some Career Fair Prep Tips for next week's fair. 🔎Research and Target Companies: ● Identify your interests: Determine the industries and companies that align with your career goals. ● Research companies: Learn about their mission, values, recent news, and open posItions. ● Tailor your approach: Prepare specific questions and talking points for each company you're interested in. 🗣Practice What To Say: ● Craft a concise introduction: Clearly state your name, major, year, and the type of position you're seeking. ● Highlight key skills and experiences: Emphasize your relevant qualifications that make you a strong candidate. ● Practice in advance: Rehearse your elevator pitch to feel confident and natural when delivering it. 💻Prepare Your Resume and Questions: ● Update your resume: Ensure it's error-free, highlights your accomplishments, and is tailored to the specific roles you're targeting. ● Prepare questions: Think of insightful questions to ask employers about their company culture, projects, or career paths. ● Most companies use online applications systems so resumes are not necessary but it doesn't hurt a bring a few copies with you particularly for the target companies you plan to visit. ● Update your profile in Handshake AND make it visible to employers for the days leading up to the fair and at least a couple of weeks after the fair.

GWS Printing Systems Represented at Walewyc MAVO Career Fair On November 25, GWS Printing Systems participated in the career fair at Walewyc MAVO in Waalwijk, where 37 companies showcased their activities. The event aims to introduce students aged 14 to 16 to various industries and support them in making informed career choices. Commercial Director Iwan In den Bosch explained: “We place great importance on supporting schools wherever possible. Young people represent the future, and for a technically-oriented company like GWS, it’s essential to stay connected with the next generation of professionals.” This year, GWS was represented by Technical Project Manager Stefan van der Linden and former owner Eric Van. Kessel.
