Many people are afraid of admitting error.
There are two truths to consider...
First, everyone makes mistakes... so, you're not alone.
Second, people are generally forgiving to those who admit their mistakes.
Oakland McCulloch and I talked about that on the Leaders & Legacies Podcast. (stay tuned for the full episode)
I've found a formula for delivering bad news... and it works very well.
How do you deliver bad news?
#leadershipqualities#salesandmarketing#growthstrategy
You do. I mean, that's really what it comes down to, in my opinion, that you have to be comfortable for the rest of your life. With the decision that you make, and again, we all make bad decisions, we all make mistakes, I got that. But. But for the most part. That's how I make decisions is am I going to be? Am I gonna regret this decision for the rest of my life? And if they answer yes, then I then I I'm willing to make a stand. And if that means that something happens to me, then I guess that that's I'm happy to do that. And I've been that way for most all all my career, so. Some would say that's why I retired as a Lieutenant Colonel.

One of the biggest lies we tell ourselves is...
"All of my decisions are rational and carefully thought out."
We want to believe that's true... but 95% of our decisions are made in a split-second... then we try to generate logic to back them up.
Cesar A. Castro and I talked about that on the Leaders & Legacies Podcast.

How to have ONLY Great clients? As the Pareto Principle specifies, eighty percent of consequences come from twenty percent of the causes, asserting an unequal relationship between inputs and outputs. Twenty percent of the customers create eighty percent of the revenue, so focus on satisfying those customers.
