What's in a name? Quite a lot, especially if you haven't named your ads account. Quick tip for people who are less well versed in Google ads account management. Always name your account rather than just leaving it blank and running with the CID number. Google ad is hard, Yes, without patience. We sometimes ruin our campaigns by over-optimizing (as I have recently done with a campaign 😫 ). Another setting that is on by default that you need to be extremely wary of when setting up new campaigns. Add that to opting into Search Partners and Display Expansion, and having the 'Presence or Interest' option selected for location targeting, and your budget could soon disappear on search terms/placements/locations that are completely irrelevant. #ppc #googleads

Seriously, guys. I almost never see a responsive search ad (RSA) use all of the descriptions. Do you? 99% of the time I see 2 in use *at all*. The other 2 have never even been tested. Multiple accounts have the same thing. Is this some unreported bug with RSAs? Ginny Marvin - are you aware of this and/or why it's happening almost everywhere I look? Once in a blue moon do I see all four having some action but, even then, the 2 disfavored ones have a tiny fraction of the impressions of the others and remain in learning status. Sometimes double digits vs thousands. #googleads #ppc #sem #searchmarketing
