Thinking of selling your business? Make it as tax efficient as possible 👇 Have existing cash at bank? Dividends = Costly ❎ Bonus = Costly ❎ Wrap that cash into the deal and part of the transaction. In the UK, you’ll only pay 10% tax up on the first £1m… That’s the smarter way.

Take advantage of deductions before the end of the financial year. Now is a good time to consider if there are any tax-deductible items you need to purchase for your business before June 30. Business expenses you may be able to claim deductions for at tax time include: 👉 day-to-day operating expenses 👉 purchases of products or services for your business 👉 certain capital expenses, such as the cost of depreciating assets like machinery and equipment used in your business. I want to pay as little tax as possible 😅 This is something I hear all the time Owners buying new cars/vans, investing large amounts in pension or paying some form large asset through their business just to reduce tax that year 👀 I get it we all want to reduce our tax BUT What if you invested that money in a CEO, improving operations or finance 💰 You would still get tax relief on the cost AND Is a cash investment that could set you up for the future To build a business that runs without you there will need to be investments made AND For a couple of years that cash might not be back in your pocket BUT What would you rather have money now OR Long term wealth FROM A business that will give you a potential life time return 💡 Any thoughts?

Use Capital Allowances to reduce the financial impact of investing in your business Capital allowances offer a way of saving tax when your business buys a capital asset such as equipment, machinery or business vehicles, thus reducing the financial strain of investing in your business. With the recent changes to Capital Allowances and the introduction of full first-year expensing, there has never been a better time for UK manufacturers to invest in their businesses. Under full expensing, companies can claim a 50% or 100% immediate tax deduction for special rate and main rate purchases, respectively, in the year of purchase on new qualifying expenditure. Why not speak to Visiativ UK, and find out how you could reduce your tax bill while investing in your business, through Capital Allowances?
