Reflecting on Growth, Gratitude, and Intention The past few years have been a journey of loss, healing, and rebuilding. COVID brought challenges I never imagined, including the loss of loved ones and a tough period for my business. But through it all, the support of family, friends, and incredible clients who have become like family has been my greatest blessing. To all my clients—thank you for trusting me to provide marketing, PR, digital marketing, and project management services across such diverse industries. From hospitality to interior design, education, conservation, cancer NPOs, florists, a garden centre, honey producer, tree felling, wellness, engineering, recruitment, automotive component manufacturing—working with each of you has been an honour. As I step into 2025, my message is to embrace every moment with intention. I’m excited about a major project in the works and hopeful for a year filled with success, balance, and meaningful connections. Here’s to living with purpose and gratitude in the year ahead. Wishing everyone a wonderful start to 2025 … a New Year always brings in new opportunities, another chance to do something different, as well as new challenges. In 2025, I hope that: - Leaders create clarity on what DEI means for them and their organisation, they are much clearer on why a more diverse and inclusive organisation is specifically beneficial to them … rather than relying on a generic ‘business case’ - Organisations build a laser focus on the issues, problems and opportunities they need to solve and explore how solutions could be delivered differently through the lens of diversity, equity and/or inclusion … rather than delivering generic ‘initiatives and programmes’ - Everyone has the space and opportunity to explore the impact their words and actions have and identify how they can play their part in making their workplace a little better for everyone they work with … rather than being shamed into action or made to feel guilt If you need support on any of the above, get in touch, we are here to help and advise. If you would like a copy of our first paper of the year ‘DEI Predictions for 2025’, please message me with your contact details. As the year comes to a close, it’s the perfect time to pause, reflect, and reignite our intentions for the year ahead. In my family, we’ve built a cherished tradition on December 31st—a ritual of gratitude and vision-setting that fills us with hope and purpose. Here’s what we do: 💡 Step 1: Reflect on Gratitude We gather as a family and share everything we’re grateful for—what we’ve achieved, received, or simply cherished over the past year. It’s a moment of grace and connection. 💡 Step 2: Review Last Year’s Vision Board We revisit the vision board we created the previous year, celebrating every milestone—big or small. 💡 Step 3: Create a New Vision Board With fresh intentions, we create a vision board for the year ahead, dividing it into four meaningful quadrants: 1️⃣ Family & Relationships: How do we want to nurture our connections? 2️⃣ Personal Growth: Health, skills, or habits we want to develop. 3️⃣ Work & Career: Professional aspirations and business goals. 4️⃣ Open Space: This could be for travel, recreation, finances, or anything personal. 💡 Step 4: Visualize with Purpose We add pictures, quotes, and personal touches to make it inspiring and vibrant. Then, we place it where we’ll see it daily—on our desks or in our personal spaces—to stay aligned with our goals. This simple practice keeps us grounded and motivated throughout the year. What’s your go-to ritual for welcoming the New Year? Let’s inspire each other with ideas for growth and joy! Wishing you all a Happy New Year—may your dreams take flight in 2025! #newyearrituals #visionboard #gratitude #personalgrowth #goalsetting #familytraditions #sandracolhando

Hey friends! It's important not to look back, you're not going that way! Focus on what you can change today to get you where you want to go. You can't change the past, but you can change your future direction by the decisions you make today. Every day counts, including today! It's easy to get caught up in dwelling on the past, whether it's regrets, mistakes, or missed opportunities. But the reality is that we can't change what has already happened. The only thing we have control over is the present moment and the choices we make right now. Remember, you have the power to shape your tomorrow by the choices you make today. Don't let the past hold you back or weigh you down. Instead, let it be a reminder of how far you've come and how much you've grown. Look ahead with hope and determination, and make each day count! If you’re grateful for your journey, comment “grateful” below! 🌟✨ Visit - www.lifeluxetravel.com #FocusOnToday #ShapeYourFuture #EveryDayCounts #LookAhead #LifeLuxeTravel #PositiveMindset #NewBeginnings #TerryJPowell

A season of epiphany…this year feels different. After decades of breaking down doors, shattering glass ceilings, and pushing boundaries, I’ve realized something: I don’t have to force my way forward anymore. For so long, I believed that was my role—to push, to strive, to make things happen no matter what. And while that relentless drive shaped me, this year, I’m embracing something new: surrender. It’s not about giving up; it’s about walking the path laid out for me rather than the one I’ve tried to create on my own. It’s about trusting that what’s meant for me will come—not because I fought for it but because it was always part of the plan. This is a new muscle I’m building, and like any new muscle, it’s sore some days. But I wake up each morning with intention. I’m choosing faith over fear, alignment over control, and trust over striving. What has kept me grounded is the incredible support system around me—my family, my friends, and my community. They have been my rock, lifting me up when I’ve felt uncertain and reminding me of the power of connection. We aren’t meant to do this alone, and I am so grateful for the people in my life who remind me of that truth. This season of transformation is also a season of giving back. My heart is in IDEAL, the initiative that allows me to pour into others—women, men, professionals, caregivers—anyone I can uplift through the lessons I’ve learned and the wisdom so many others have shared with me. I don’t know exactly where this path will lead, and I’m learning to be okay with that. I’m listening, watching, and making decisions in real time. But for the first time in my life, I’m trusting the doors meant for me will open without me having to break them down. If you’re in a season of uncertainty, I hope this resonates. Trust the process. Lean into your community. Surround yourself with people who believe in you. And above all, walk forward in faith—you are never alone on this journey. I’d love to see you at the IDEAL event, if you can join me the link is below. Here’s to 2025—a year of integrity, purpose, and momentum. IDEAL for Healthcare #leadership #faith #business #givingback

Last year’s Family Reunion left me with three powerful takeaways that have helped me accelerate my growth: 🔥The rooms you’re in matter. Tony Robbins reminded us that energy is contagious, and being intentional about the spaces we step into can elevate our mindset, relationships, and business. 🔥 Your personal brand is your superpower. Rory Vaden shared, “You are most powerfully positioned to serve the person you once were.” I felt those words deeply—it’s about aligning your story with your purpose to serve others. 🔥Celebrate yourself daily. Mel Robbins introduced the High Five Habit, a simple but powerful way to build confidence and momentum by starting with self-acknowledgment. Family Reunion wasn’t just another convention—it was a launchpad to accelerate clarity, growth, and meaningful connections. As I gear up for this year, I’m doubling down on these lessons and focusing on stepping into rooms that challenge me to grow. It’s all about getting comfortable with being uncomfortable because in that space of discomfort is where growth happens ❤️ Are you ready to go with us? #Accelerate #TheRoomsYoureIn #PersonalBranding #HighFiveHabit #KWFamilyReunion #kwcpa #kwgpa

#GLOBALSOUTHALERT: #MORTGAGEE (TYPICALLY A LENDER SUCH AS A #BANK) NOT A #TRUSTEE FOR THE #MORTGAGOR (#BORROWER) –"It is well settled that a mortgagee is not a trustee of a power of sale for the mortgagor. Once the power has accrued, the mortgagee is entitled to exercise it for his own purposes whenever he chooses to do so. It matters not that the moment may be unpropitious and that by waiting a higher price could be obtained. He has the right to realize his security by turning it into money when he likes. As 2024 draws to a close, I'm writing this with a heart full of unexpected gratitude. Not every goal I set in January materialized – and you know what? That's beautifully human. This year taught me that our paths rarely follow the neat little checkboxes we create. TRUE or TRUE!😏 Instead, I'm celebrating the unplanned wins: ⚡the conversations that sparked new ideas, ⚡the "failures" that led to better opportunities, and most importantly – ⚡the growth that happened in the quiet moments between the big milestones. To my network: thank you for being part of this wonderfully imperfect journey. Here's to embracing all that 2025 brings – both the mapped and unmapped territories.🥂 P.S. What unexpected wins are you grateful for this year? #YearInReview #Gratitude #linkedinforcreators #linkedincreators #fishcoach #ProfessionalGrowth #Authenticity
